On Monday June 23rd 2025, we attended the awards event with our nominated students at Gillian Lynne theatre in the West End.
The performance consisted of a variety of performances, key note speakers including actor David Bradley about the importance of drama in schools and how it can change lives.
On the night Claramae received the award for Kavanagh Award for Outstanding Contribution to school drama. This award is given on one young person each year in recognition of their engagement and contribution to drama and the arts.
All the students have worked incredibly hard and fully deserved their nominations, we are proud of the whole cast and crew of both shows and are thrilled Claramae received the award, and hope the students' successes continue to inspire students across the school .
