On Friday 19th April 2024 as part of the Year 7 Careers programme, we have organised a special day where several emergency services will be visiting the school. This includes representatives from the Police, Fire Department, Ambulance Services, and the RNLI.
The primary goal of this event is to educate our students about the various career opportunities within these vital industries. By interacting with professionals from these services, students will gain insight into the important work they do within our community. Understanding these careers not only broadens their knowledge but also instils a sense of appreciation for the crucial roles these individuals play in keeping us safe. It is important for our students to be aware of the diverse career paths available to them, especially in fields that contribute significantly to society's well-being.
The presence of emergency vehicles on site during this event is intended to provide a hands-on experience for students.
