The art department and Year 7 are currently doing a community project with the Abbey Flyer - designing posters for the 7 stations that go between St Albans and Watford. We have chosen to look at the environment of this area and the bird wildlife that inhabit it. We are also exploring materials and techniques working in class and with Art club participants. We are hoping these posters will be in place in the Spring. All of the birds represented are British Birds and can be found in gardens, woodlands and water lands within this area. Our students have been working hard on this project and creating some beautiful artwork. Displaying their work at our local stations would be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their creativity and give them a real sense of pride. We can’t wait to see them up!.
