Marlborough are proud to announce that we have been awarded the School of Character Quality Mark +

The Marlborough Science Academy has always been value driven if not explicitly but intrinsically even before it became a “thing”, an accreditation and attributes that helped drive a school forward with kindness and care.
Having acquired Character status in March 2023 we have worked tirelessly to uphold and hold true the values we believe in – Dignity – Endeavour – Courage – Kindness and Compassion. They are the main thread , the red or golden depending on which book you read that underpins all that we do. Without the drive, endeavour and courage of Mrs. Golds achieving character quality mark plus (one of two schools in Herts and only 47 across the UK) might have seemed like a huge mountain to climb. However, with such values from every brick that forms our school, they are indeed a living, breathing and most important part of our everyday commitment to school life and teaching. It’s what we believe in, it’s what we will always believe in.
